Accountant/Financial Analyst

Position Details

Provide high-quality financial support and expertise to a mid-sized nonprofit behavioral health agency. Our finance team is instrumental in ensuring that program and agency leaders have the financial tools available to ensure data-driven planning and decision-making.

Primary Responsibilities

• Financial reporting
• Funder and grant expense tracking
• Account reconciliations
• Financial analysis
• Billings for reimbursement from contractual agencies/funding sources
• Serving as a point person for 2-3 program directors, facilitating their monthly meetings
• Supporting the implementation and maintenance of internal financial controls and procedures

Position Requirements

• Michigan resident
• Bachelor's Degree in accounting
• 2-3 years of accounting experience
• Experience with high-volume data using analysis tools preferred
• Proficiency in Excel
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to meet strict external deadlines
• Strong attention to detail
• Experience in a non-profit setting strongly preferred
• Experience with NetSuite (Oracle) preferred
