About the role
The accountant is responsible for accounting tasks including data entry & recordkeeping of financial data, assisting with preparing financial reports, reconciliations and accounts receivables for the organization.
Responsibilities
- Prepare month end cash reports for each CCI Anesthesia billing location.
- Review payroll files and record accruals to ensure related expenses are recognized in the correct accounting period in accordance with GAAP.
- Monthly reconciliation of patient revenue deposits to third party bulling reports.
- Aid in preparation of monthly client financial statements and balance sheet workpapers.
- Accounts Receivable Responsibilities:
- Ensure that CCI receives payments for services rendered.
- Maintain and update customer files in accounting software, including name, contact, and/or address changes.
- Submit invoices to client for CCI entities.
- Provide supporting information when requested.
- Collaborate with CFO, VP of Finance, and/or Accounting Manager to research customer discrepancies.
- Identify delinquent accounts and notify CCI leadership via weekly report.
- Contact delinquent account holders to request payment.
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations.
- Provide backup for Accounts Payable.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration with concentration in accounting or finance.
- Two years healthcare accounting experience.
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office & accounting software.
- An understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and their practical application in day-to-day accounting functions.

Pay
The base salary range for this role is $65,000 to $85,000 per year.
Schedule
Remote work. Standard home office. Ability to travel to company events and meetings. Travel on average annually would be 2-3 trips.
