About the role
Facilitates complex fiscal, accounting, accounting analysis, and general ledger functions. Prepares budgets, financial forecasts, and research. Serves to resolve high-level issues.
Responsibilities
- Manages fiscal and accounting functions; formulates and recommends policies and procedures to effectively administer programs.
- Maintains general ledger accounts; handles funds for units of medium size/complexity; prepares general ledger journal entries.
- Captures data for and prepares complex budgets.
- Reviews and analyzes a variety of reports, accounts, reconciliations, schedules, and tables from internal units, financial institutions, and external agencies; conducts complex accounting analyses.
- Serves as an accounting resource to senior leadership.
- Interprets and ensures compliance with fiscal regulations, policies, and procedures; resolves high-level accounting issues in coordination with others.
Requirements
Minimum Education Level Required: Bachelor's Degree
Minimum Years Of Experience Required: 2

Qualifications
Must have strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret and apply complex financial regulations and policies.
Skills
Strong analytical skills, knowledge of general ledger systems, proficiency in budget preparation and analysis, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
