ACCOUNTANT

Responsibilities

• Produces and analyzes financial and statistical reports.
• Gathers data, prepares and analyzes routine financial reports for internal UAB purposes and third party agencies.
• Communicates with departmental users and third party agencies regarding applicable accounts.
• Prepares period deposits, billings and transfer of funds in a timely and accurate manner.
• Supports the budgeting process by processing and inputting budget information under minimal supervision.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field required.
• Prior accounting experience, grants accounting preferred.

Qualifications

• No work experience may substitute for the education requirement.
