In this customer-facing role, you will provide professional tax preparation services, tax planning guidance, and product support while helping individuals confidently navigate the tax filing process. You will serve customers both in person and virtually, build long-term client relationships, and actively represent TurboTax within the local community through outreach and educational events.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and file federal and state individual tax returns using TurboTax.Provide professional tax advice, planning, and personalized financial guidance.Assist customers with tax calculations, deductions, amendments, and refund optimization.Deliver exceptional customer service in both retail and virtual environments.Build and maintain long-term client relationships.Represent TurboTax at community events and local marketing initiatives.Generate new business through outreach and customer engagement.Educate customers using simple, easy-to-understand tax guidance.Utilize tax software, CRM tools, and available resources to provide accurate tax solutions.Maintain compliance with federal, state, and company tax regulations.Qualifications & RequirementsRequired QualificationsActive CPA, Enrolled Agent (EA), or Practicing Attorney credential.Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).Minimum 3 years of paid tax preparation experience.Experience preparing 50+ federal and state individual (1040) tax returns per tax season.Strong knowledge of U.S. tax laws and IRS Circular 230.Ability to obtain required state licenses, permits, or certifications.Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail location for at least 20 hours per week, including weekends during peak tax season.Strong communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills.Proficiency with tax preparation software and CRM tools.Must reside within the United States.Preferred QualificationsBilingual English/Spanish communication skills.Experience providing comprehensive tax advisory services.Entrepreneurial mindset with business development experience.Interest in community engagement, public speaking, and educational content creation.Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive hourly pay (Washington: $32.50–$36.00/hour).Performance-based cash bonus opportunities.Equity awards (where eligible).Comprehensive employee benefits package.Seasonal and year-round employment opportunities.Professional development and career growth.TurboTax marketing and business development support.Equal Opportunity EmployerEqual Opportunity Employer: Intuit is committed to creating an inclusive workplace where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
