Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform daily accounting activities including: General ledger entries, Accounts payable and accounts receivable processing, Bank and account reconciliations, Journal entries, Fixed asset tracking
- Absorb assistance with month-end and year-end closing processes. Prepare accurate financial reports and supporting schedules.
- Sustain compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.
- Absorb audit preparation and provide documentation for external auditors.
- Review and reconcile customer billing and revenue reporting data.
- Work closely with operations and management teams to ensure financial accuracy.
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation.
- Absorb assist with regulatory reporting and tax-related filings as needed.
Job Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent work experience required.
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience required.
- Experience in telecommunications, broadband, utility, or ISP industries preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software systems.
- Experience with CHR Omnia BSS is beneficial.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
