About the role
The Accountant is responsible for the monthly preparation of financial schedules, summaries, analyses, and reports. This includes handling standard journal entries, preparing company and governmental statistics, maintaining various general ledger accounts, performing product cost analyses, and coordinating month-end entries through EDP. The role also involves maintaining the chart of accounts and overseeing accounting files.
Responsibilities
- Participate in monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports).
- Prepare and/or review monthly account reconciliations.
- Prepare consolidation and management reports.
- Interact with internal and external auditors and assist with related deliverables.
- Perform account balance change analysis to identify and account for irregularities.
- Maintain Chart of Accounts and other metadata in the consolidation system.
- Prepare lease accounting schedules and entries in compliance with GAAP and IFRS.
- Liaise with the FP&A department and align financial data.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
- 2 or more years of accounting experience in a medium to large-sized organization.
- Manufacturing industry experience is preferred.
- GAAP and IFRS experience is preferred.

- Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office Suites.
- ERP and Consolidation System experience is a plus.
