Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Staff Accountant to join our Accounting Department. You will work closely with senior accounting staff and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts, including recording, reviewing, and reconciling transactions
• Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual closing procedures
• Reconcile assigned monthly balance sheet accounts
• Support the preparation of financial statements and related schedules
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Absorb bank reconciliations and account verification
• Perform variance analyses and investigate discrepancies
• Support audit activities, including gathering documentation and responding to auditor inquiries
• Maintain accounting records and documentation in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Cook with other departments to gather financial information and resolve accounting issues

Pay

The base pay range for this role is $60,600 - $75,800 annually. Pay within this range will be determined in good faith based on job-related factors, which may include skills, experience, education/training, location, and internal equity.
