About the role
This role sits within the Finance team. The Finance team oversees the accounting and financial reporting functions for SFM and the funds it manages.
Responsibilities
- Review and verify all incoming invoices for accuracy, completeness, reasonableness, and adhere to company policies and procedures
- Review and reconcile credit card charges, verify coding accuracy, and obtain supporting documentation
- Manage and monitor cash flows and perform bank reconciliations
- Maintain accurate vendor information within Workday, addressing vendor queries or concerns as they arise
- Prepare and analyze financial reports
- Work on month-end and year-end closing
- Afford assistance with ad hoc projects
- Prepare annual 1099s for recipients and the IRS
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 1-3 years of accounting experience, industry experience is a plus (family office, private investment firm, public accounting)
- Technology and data minded; knowledge of Workday is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- A high degree of sensitivity and discretion when dealing with confidential information

Pay
The base salary of this role is anticipated to be between $75,000 - $85,000. In addition to a base salary, the successful candidate will also be eligible to receive a discretionary year-end bonus.
