Accountant

About the Role

Solar Energy Solutions (SES) is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accountant to support the daily financial operations of the company. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, maintains strict confidentiality, and thrives in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Payroll accounting
• Accounts payable
• Month-end accounting activities
• Compliance reporting
• Tax support
• Fleet administration and licensing
• General accounting functions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
• Experience with payroll processing and journal entries
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Experience with ERP systems and accounting software; Paychex experience is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
• High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
