Sedron Technologies is hiring a talented Accountant in Bellingham or Sedro-Woolley, WA or Chicago, IL!
Responsibilities
- Perform general ledger journal entries, account reconciliations, and balance sheet analysis as part of the monthly close process
- Aid in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP, including multi-entity consolidations
- Support budget preparation and variance analysis by providing accurate financial data and reports
- Maintain fixed asset records including additions, disposals, and depreciation schedules
- Assist with budget preparation and variance analysis by providing accurate financial data and reports
- Support continuous improvement of accounting processes, systems, and documentation
- Aid in ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as requested by finance leadership
- Participate in ERP or accounting system upgrades and implementations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- 2–5 years of general accounting experience; manufacturing or project-based industry experience preferred
- CPA designation or active pursuit preferred
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Dynamics, NetSuite, SAP, or similar) and Microsoft Excel; experience with financial reporting tools a plus
- Strong understanding of GAAP; high attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret financial data and identify discrepancies
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of financial record-keeping
- Working knowledge of financial systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Dynamics
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines during high-volume close periods
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Strong working knowledge of excel

Pay
Compensation for this role is between $81,000 - 115,000 annually
