Accountant
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities across payables, receivables, and general ledger records to maintain accurate financial data.
- Prepare and record journal entries with appropriate support and ensure transactions are posted correctly within established timelines.
- Complete bank and account reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and resolve outstanding items promptly.
- Support the month-end close process by organizing financial data, reviewing balances, and helping meet reporting deadlines.
- Process vendor invoices and customer-related transactions with attention to accuracy, coding, and documentation standards.
- Review financial records for completeness and consistency, escalating issues that may affect reporting or close activities.
- Absorb and assist with maintaining organized accounting documentation and support audit or internal review requests as needed.
Requirements
- Hands-on accounting experience in a business environment with a strong focus on accuracy and detail.
- Working knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger processes.
- Experience preparing journal entries and performing account and bank reconciliations.
- Familiarity with month-end close procedures and related financial reporting support.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in an onsite setting.
- Proficiency with accounting systems and spreadsheet tools used for financial tracking and analysis.
- Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $45,000 - $65,000 per year.
