Accountant
Peabody Properties is seeking an experienced Accountant to join its Finance and Accounting team in Braintree, MA.
About the role
The Accountant is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of all accounting and reporting aspects of a portfolio of properties. Duties include preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, completion and maintenance of partnership general ledgers, financial statements, audit reports, and assistance in the establishment of annual fiscal budgets for each property in their portfolio.

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Maintain partnership general ledgers and financial statements
- Assist in the preparation of audit reports
- Support the establishment of annual fiscal budgets for each property
Requirements
- Familiarity with standard concepts within the real estate and subsidized housing fields preferred
- Strong analytical and technical skills
- Excellent customer service and professionalism
- Good organizational and attention to detail skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to take initiative and be self-motivated
- Ability to multitask
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance related field
- 3+ years of related work experience
- Knowledge of MS Office, Excel, and RealPage Onesite (a plus)

$80,000 (commensurate with experience)
