ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reconcile assigned accounts and maintain accurate, complete records on a periodic and fiscal year-end basis
- Perform detailed general ledger analyses across balance sheet and income statement accounts, identifying and explaining variances (year-over-year and vs. budget)
- Support the development of annual budgets and profit plans for designated areas
- Prepare audit schedules and assist external auditors during year-end audits, including maintaining and updating internal control documentation
- Independently resolve routine issues; escalate complex matters as needed
- Provide direction and oversight to assigned staff to ensure timely completion of daily, period-end, and year-end activities
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated proven attention to detail and accuracy
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (or equivalent certification) required
- 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience, including exposure to financial reporting and analysis
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred
