Senior Accountant to support a growing multi-location retail network across the Midwest. Key Responsibilities Lead month-end close and manage the general ledger to ensure accurate, timely financial statements.Prepare account reconciliations and supporting journal entries.Perform variance analyses and financial reporting to highlight performance drivers.Support budgeting and forecasting activities with reliable financial inputs and analysis.Strengthen internal controls and improve accounting processes for accuracy and compliance.Collaborate with operations and leadership to interpret financial results and provide actionable insights. Qualifications & Skills Strong understanding of accounting principles, month-end close procedures, and general ledger management.Proficiency in reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analysis.Ability to support budgeting/forecasting and produce clear, accurate financial reporting.Strong attention to detail, integrity, and commitment to continuous improvement.Effective communication and partnership skills with cross-functional teams.
