Responsibilities
- Record transactions and post journal entries to the general ledger under supervision.
- Assist with account reconciliations, accruals, and fixed asset management.
- Support bank reconciliations and expense report processing.
- Track departmental expenses and support budget-to-actual reporting.
- Affiliate with tax postings (e.g., GST, sales/use, property tax) and compliance.
- Contribute to financial reporting and support external audit requests.
- Learns and applies GAAP standards and internal quality procedures.
- Participates in problem-solving and root cause analysis for financial discrepancies.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of accounting experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field (required).
- Understanding of financial processes and regulatory standards.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Interest in developing financial acumen and understanding business impact.
- Familiarity with accounting systems and willingness to learn internal tools and procedures.
