Responsibilities

  • Preparing and submitting accurate tax returns for the company, ensuring all data is correct and up-to-date.
  • Conducting regular tax audits and creating reports on the company's financial status.
  • Researching and understanding the latest tax laws and regulations, and applying this knowledge to our company's financial practices.
  • Developing and implementing effective tax strategies to minimize our tax liability and maximize profits.
  • Collaborating with other departments to gather necessary financial information and provide expert advice on tax-related matters.
  • Resolving any tax-related issues or discrepancies promptly and professionally.
  • Maintaining accurate and organized financial records, and ensuring all tax documentation is compliant with laws and regulations.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is highly desirable.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in an accounting role with a focus on tax management.
  • Extensive knowledge of local, state, and federal tax laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in tax software and other accounting tools.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to identify discrepancies in financial data.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
  • A high level of integrity, with the ability to handle sensitive financial information confidentially and ethically.
