Accountant

Essential Duties

• Support the monthly close process for three companies.
• Perform daily banking activities and cash reconciliations.
• Crosstrain and provide support for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and payroll functions.
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
• Prepare and maintain account reconciliations.
• Aid in preparing for external audits and J-SOX analysis activities.
• Assist with other duties and special projects as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• 3+ years of month-end close and financial statements experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods while working at a desk or computer workstation.
• Ability to operate standard office equipment, including a computer and telephone.
• Ability to occasionally move throughout the office to access files, office equipment, and meeting areas.

Salary/Rate Range

Salaries/Rates will vary and may be above or below this range based on several factors including experience, education, training, location, and merit.
