Accountant

About the role

An immediate opening for an Accountant at our Main office located at 111 W. Front Street in Berwick. The ideal candidate will be a positive, proactive, problem-solving team player who holds themselves accountable. The successful candidate will support the accounting, financial reporting, and internal control functions of the Bank and achieve goals established in the Accounting Department's annual operating plan.

Responsibilities include coordinating work within the department and with other departments, complying with operating policies and procedures, communicating with appropriate personnel, responding to inquiries, maintaining records, and providing assigned reports.

Requirements

• B.A. or B.S. degree in accounting or a related field of study
• 1 year of related experience (preferred)
