About the Role
CIS is recruiting for two accounting positions within the Finance Department:
- One Accountant I, $70,561 - $82,805 annually
- One Accountant II, $79,282 - $93,040 annually

During training, you may be required to work up to five (5) days per week in our Wilsonville Office. After the training period, the number of days required in the office may be reduced. Work from home days may be worked remotely from your Oregon residence.
Responsibilities
Accountant I
- Detailed accounting work, financial recordkeeping, and general ledger maintenance.
- Account reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable activities, and payroll support.
- Audit preparation.
Accountant II
- Manage accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliations.
- Financial reporting and month-end accounting processes.
- Customer service and financial analysis.
Requirements
Accountant I
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- One (1) to three (3) years of accounting experience.
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), spreadsheet applications, and accounting systems.
Accountant II
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Three (3) or more years of accounting experience.
- Strong analytical, reconciliation, and customer service skills.
- Advanced proficiency with Excel and accounting systems.
Note: Education, experience, and demonstrated abilities will be evaluated to determine the appropriate classification level (Accountant I or Accountant II) for which an applicant qualifies.

Accountant I

Accountant II
- Seasoned accounting professional who can work independently and manage complex accounting activities.
- Experience managing accounts receivable, reconciliations, invoicing, collections, financial reporting, and month-end accounting processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify discrepancies and implement solutions.
- Highly proficient in Excel and experienced with integrated accounting systems.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively to various audiences.

Pay
- Accountant I: $70,561 - $82,805 annually
- Accountant II: $79,282 - $93,040 annually
Schedule
- 37.5-hour workweek.
- During training: up to five (5) days per week in the Wilsonville Office.
- After training: reduced in-office days; remote work from an Oregon residence permitted.
