Accountant
Responsibilities
- Perform full-cycle accounting functions, including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and month-end/year-end close.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, collections, and payment processing.
- Complete daily and monthly bank reconciliations and monitor cash activity.
- Process payroll entries and support related reporting.
- Prepare and file state sales tax reports and payments.
- Maintain accurate job costing data and review project-level financials.
- Prepare sales reports and commission statements; reconcile commission data.
- Reconcile ACH transactions with customer payments and internal records.
- Process orders related to equipment, services, and parts.
- Verify and maintain insurance documentation.
- Cover administrative tasks related to financial operations and reporting.
- Enter and retrieve financial data across multiple systems.
- Provide ad hoc reporting and support to leadership and cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
- Five years of full-cycle accounting experience, including payroll, general ledger, and year-end entries.
- Proficiency in data entry, reporting, and administrative writing.
- Attention to detail and professionalism.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Power BI, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Strong teamwork and deadline management skills.
Essential Skills
- Strong understanding of general ledger, reconciliation, and month-end processes.
- Ability to perform full-cycle accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Experience in journal entry and month-end processes.
- Capacity to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Work Environment
This is an in-person position. The work schedule is Monday through Friday in a professional, modern office environment. Our office includes a training technology center, a full kitchen, and a café-style break area. We offer a collaborative, flexible, and enjoyable small-office atmosphere where each team member plays an important role in the overall success of the organization.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bridgeton, MO.
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $38.00/hr.
