Accountant

Summary

Qualified candidate will apply solid knowledge of general accounting principles, month-end closing and business analysis skills to record transactions and provide analysis for senior management. Works closely with President and CEO.

Major Responsibilities

• Aid with month-end closing: balance sheet reconciliations and P&L analysis.
• Maintain fixed assets: set up, depreciation, disposals.
• Process equipment sales & rental transactions.
• Administer sales & use tax, real and personal property taxes.

Required Qualifications

• Must have a 4 year degree in Accounting.
• 2-3 years of corporate or Accounting Graduate with Internship Experience.
• Proficiency with advanced accounting software, and Excel.
• ADP Payroll Experience and CPA and audit experience a plus.
• Must be a team player with effective written/verbal communication skills, ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, work well with others and independently.

Position Requirements

• Requires travel for annual inventories to 3-5 branch locations.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary depends on work experience and Accounting knowledge/certification: $60,000-80,000.
