Accountant

Position Summary

The Accountant at Amphenol Industrial Operations is responsible for invoice and expense report processing, payroll processing entries, supplier information alignment and requests, and other general accounting tasks. This role requires an organized individual who understands accounting principles, possesses moderate to strong analytical skills, and can manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Process and manage accounts payable invoices
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
• Maintain vendor records including contact information and payment terms
• Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
• Aid in account reconciliations for month-end journal entries
• Perform other general accounting tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Internship experience in accounting/Finance (preferred)
• Knowledge of GAAP accounting standards (preferred)
