Accountant

Responsibilities

• Billing of Student Tuition of the Albany Medical College
• Monthly accounting for the tuition, scholarship revenue and expenses of the student tuition
• Monthly account reconciliations of Student Tuition Receivables and Deferred Tuition Revenue
• Monthly AMC medical services provided to 3rd party medical practices
• Billing for rent to Non AMC medical practices
• Billing for CAM and utility charges

Requirements

• Education: BS of Accounting, BS of Business Science, concentration in Accounting
• Licensure, Certification & Registration: Not required
• Experience: 1-2 years, preferred not required

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

• Proficient in Microsoft Applications, including Excel, Word and Teams
• Familiarity with WorkDay, preferred
• Ability to work as part of a Team as well as individually
• Strong Management skills
• Strong Communication Skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to meet assigned deadlines
• Strong organizational skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
