About The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant / 340B Program Analyst to join our Finance team. This hybrid role combines core accounting functions with specialized oversight of our nationally recognized 340B Drug Pricing Program. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial accuracy of our operations, maintaining compliance with federal regulations, and supporting the ongoing success of the 340B program, which is vital for providing affordable medications to our patients.
Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of prior accounting experience
- Proficiency in spreadsheet applications (e.g., Excel)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Four-year college degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
- Five or more years of relevant experience (preferred)
- Previous experience managing a healthcare-related 340B program (preferred)
- Knowledge of major accounting software applications (preferred)
- Experience working with healthcare practice management systems (preferred)
- Experience in Federally Qualified Health Centers (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Perform account reconciliations, prepare journal entries, and conduct financial reporting and variance analysis to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Assist with budgeting processes, grant tracking, and coordinate internal and external audits.
- Oversee daily administration of MCHC's 340B Program, ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements.
- Monitor HRSA regulations, complete annual recertification, and maintain ongoing program compliance.
- Conduct and coordinate internal and external 340B audits, identify issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Analyze program performance, prepare detailed financial and operational reports, and identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Collaborate with Finance, Compliance, Information Systems, and operational leaders to optimize program performance and ensure seamless operations.
- Manage relationships with contract pharmacies, monitor billing and inventory processes, and troubleshoot operational issues as they arise.
- Support Ryan White reporting requirements and perform monthly 340B financial reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
