About the role
REQ, an Agital Company, is seeking a strategic, proactive, and highly organized Account Supervisor to join our growing Public Relations team in Phoenix, AZ. In this role, you’ll serve as a trusted client partner and day-to-day account leader, helping guide PR programs, integrated campaigns, media strategy, content development, and team execution across multiple client accounts. This is a leadership role for someone who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field
- 5–7 years of relevant experience in public relations, communications, client services, or account management, preferably within an agency environment
- Demonstrated experience leading client accounts or significant client workstreams with minimal oversight
- Strong media relations experience, including media strategy, pitching, interview coordination, briefing preparation, and securing meaningful media opportunities
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics and create succinct, compelling, high-impact content
- Experience developing or guiding strategic communications plans, integrated campaigns, content programs, and executive visibility initiatives
- Proven ability to manage complex projects, budgets, timelines, client expectations, and cross-functional resources
- Strong verbal communication and presentation skills, including the ability to lead persuasive meetings and clearly articulate account strategy, client positioning, and recommended next steps
- Experience mentoring, coaching, or supervising junior team members; direct supervisory experience is a plus
- Strong understanding of technology, business, media, and digital marketing trends
- Proficiency with media research, reporting, and digital marketing tools such as Meltwater, MuckRack, Google Analytics, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, WordPress, or similar platforms
- Comfort working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
