About the role
The Account Services /Customer Services Representative works with the Account Teams and the Customer to provide on-time manufacture and delivery of branding products.
Responsibilities
- Communicates proactively with customers regarding order status, shipment schedules, lead times, and delivery commitments
- Creates, edits, and acknowledges sales orders both manually and via electronic portals; Identify special requirements and communicate them to the Production planning team
- Maintains accurate records of customer interactions
- Investigates customer concerns and coordinates internal teams to resolve order, shipment, quality, or invoicing issues
- Maintains customer and part specific master data including Customer billing and ship-to information, customer part number cross references, customer pricing
- Communicates and coordinates with internal team members to support excellent performance for our customers
Requirements
- 5 years of customer service experience
- Associate or bachelor's Degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Excellent and proven organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple customer requests and resolve issues in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications; Advanced Excel experience a major plus
- Detail-oriented individual
- Demonstrated ability to learn customer-specific ordering, forecasting, and supplier portal systems
- Demonstrated professionalism and strong verbal communication skills when interacting with customers and internal teams
- Experience supporting customers in a manufacturing, supply chain, distribution, or industrial environment preferred
- Experience working within an ERP system preferred; Microsoft Dynamics Business Central is a plus
