Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct presentations and in-person meetings with medical providers and clinic staff to promote products and services, highlighting their benefits and use cases.
  • Deliver accurate and timely follow-up discussions with physicians and office staff.
  • Establish and maintain strong, long-term working relationships with new and existing customers to encourage repeat business and to foster trust.
  • Conduct customer research to identify new sales leads and targets.
  • Research competitors' products, pricing, and market strategies, and gather feedback from the field to inform company strategies, pricing and product development.
  • Act as the subject matter expert, educating healthcare professionals on the proper use, dosage, safety profiles, and clinical data of products. This includes in-person breakfast and/or lunch meetings. When necessary, travel to and represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade fairs.
  • Triage inbound support requests from current and prospective customers.
  • Plan work schedules and travel throughout an assigned territory to manage accounts and maximize customer and prospect coverage.
  • Maintain detailed records of all customer contacts and sales activities using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools. Accurately track and submit regular expense reports to management.
  • Ensure all promotional activities and interactions with healthcare professionals comply with industry regulations and ethical standards.

  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Ability to sit and stand up to 50% of the work day.
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel frequently.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year college or university, preferably in a life sciences discipline.
  • 2 or more years of outside, business-to-business (B2B) sales experience.
  • Medical, Pharmaceutical, Compounding or other Healthcare Sales Experience preferred.

KPI Expectations (Subject To Change)

  • Minimum of 30 in-person meetings with prospective customers weekly.
  • Minimum of one (1) educational breakfast or lunch meeting with a prospective customer weekly.
  • In-person visit with all Priority 1 customers every 3 weeks.
  • In-person visit all active customers (see definition) every 6 weeks.
  • Minimum of one (1) educational breakfast or lunch meeting with a referring customer monthly.
  • Logging 100% of the sales activities in the company CRM tool.
