Responsibilities

  • Cook up selling efforts to grow new and incremental sales with the Target Account list.
  • In-Sight! Phone Contacts. Organize and execute targeted selling events.
  • Effectively build relationships with customers by understanding and supporting their business.
  • Develop a strategy to grow sales and profits to key, opportunity, new and existing customers.
  • Conduct product demonstrations to support solutions for the customer.
  • Develop working relationships with stores to achieve business goals.
  • Generate leads.
  • Help determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports as required.
  • Give sales presentations to a range of prospective clients.
  • Coordinate sales efforts with marketing programs.
  • Understand and promote company programs.
  • Prepare and submit sales contracts for orders.
  • Visit clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services.
  • Maintain client records.
  • Answer client questions about terms, products, prices, and availability.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.
  • Must have a valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED).
  • Must have at least one (1) year of experience working in a retail, sales, or customer service position.
  • Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.

About the Role

The Account Development Representative plays a crucial role in initiating and managing relationships with customers, serving as the primary point of contact for the Company. This position involves heavy prospecting to add new accounts to the target account list and logging all contacts and calls with target accounts. The incumbent is also eligible for bonuses based on performance and is entitled to various benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, and flexible work arrangements.

Compensation decisions are made based on the facts and circumstances of each case and may vary within the stated wage range. The wage range is not adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
