About the role
Lessen is the tech-enabled, end-to-end property service provider transforming how commercial and residential real estate services are delivered and managed at scale. The Account Representative is responsible for the day-to-day delivery of facilities services to major client sites within a geographic territory or trade. This role plays an integral part in client work order management, operational support, and financial successes for the clients supported. You will work closely with the Team Lead to address daily client challenges, execute special projects, and serve as a primary internal point of contact for the Team Lead, Customer, or Affiliate within the team.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a client point of contact for assigned locations, regularly interacting with customers, affiliates, and internal team members.
- Evaluate all client requests for urgency, efficacy, and necessity to ensure timely maintenance needs are met in line with department key metrics.
- Manage all service requests by understanding the issue, coordinating resources, maintaining timelines, and communicating with clients, vendors, and leadership.
- Anticipate, take ownership of, and proactively manage client escalations, resolving issues quickly while escalating complex matters to leadership with actionable recommendations.
- Develop and manage relationships with client stakeholders, including location staff, corporate functions, and facilities management offices.
- Coordinate workflows among internal commodities and external service providers to ensure work completion per client specifications.
- Engage with external third-party stakeholders (municipal governments, landlords, property associations) to resolve facilities-related issues.
- Ensure full utilization of warranty provisions and evaluate lease terms to avoid unnecessary client expenditures.
- Coordinate with after-hours and weekend coverage teams to maintain 24/7 client support.
- Foster a positive team environment and provide coaching or mentoring to team members.
- Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of internal and external data.
- Perform ad-hoc projects and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 0-3 years of experience preferred.
- Experience in facilities management, maintenance management, building engineering, or related fields is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Pay
$41,000 - $45,000 a year
