About the role
This is a two-year training program designed to build sales experience, product knowledge, and the skills needed to transition into a sales representative role. The position is hybrid, covering a designated territory.
Responsibilities
- Cultivate strong relationships with customers in your territory to understand their business needs and identify opportunities.
- Cold call and prospect potential customers to grow your book of business, focusing on continuous new business development.
- Plan your week in advance to prioritize customer visits and territory growth, following a bottom-up growth strategy.
- Demonstrate products to potential customers, highlighting value and quality (80% of products are American-made).
- Meet or exceed sales quotas by following the company’s proven sales programs and processes learned in training workshops.
- Maintain accurate records of daily sales activities in company systems and report cost-savings to customers.
Requirements
- Ability to travel to customer locations, company meetings, and other sites within your assigned territory while maintaining required insurance coverage minimums.
- Use of a personal electronic device compliant with the company’s Bring-Your-Own-Device (BYOD) policy.
- Execution of an Employment Agreement and/or revised exhibits, reviewed prior to signing.
Pay
First-year compensation ranges from $42,400 to $47,400, including salary and bonus structure. Mileage and cell phone reimbursement are provided.
