TK Elevator is seeking an experienced Account Manager for Service/Repair in Madison, WI. This role focuses on securing and maintaining service accounts, developing customer relationships, and ensuring the branch meets annual revenue goals.

Responsibilities

  • Exceed sales goals and quotas using company tools for service and repair growth and cancellation reduction.
  • Manage service accounts by visiting Tier 1, 2, and 3 customers within the assigned territory to build relationships and understand their needs, including engagement with BOMA and associated groups.
  • Develop capital plans for customers to address short- and long-term building needs.
  • Maintain strong working knowledge of company products through training, manuals, and supplier information, including local elevator code requirements.
  • Prepare repair job proposals by estimating labor and costs using software; obtain supplier estimates and manually calculate for items not in the program.
  • Review blueprints, survey equipment, and collaborate with operations personnel for input and approvals.
  • Prepare service contract bids, including reviewing blueprints and surveying equipment as needed.
  • Respond to customer questions regarding quoted repairs and service contracts, including follow-up on proposals.
  • Monitor current service contracts by visiting job sites and customers to ensure satisfaction and resolve issues.
  • Contact service customers regarding contract renewal before expiration and advise on price increases if applicable.
  • Demonstrate technical knowledge of H-Power features and develop sales strategies for modernization offerings.
  • Utilize the Customer Relations Management (CRM) tool to update and manage the sales pipeline.
  • Assist in accounts receivable (A/R) collection efforts to ensure prompt payment.
  • Conduct follow-up on all proposals and coordinate submittal packages through the approval process, creating change orders as requested.
  • Visit project sites as needed and collaborate with the operations team to meet customer needs and deadlines.
  • Partner with the operations team to negotiate Scope of Work (SOW) and collaborate with contract administrators, sales support, and legal as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 1-2 years of related sales experience; elevator sales or industry experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural blueprints/drawings preferred.
  • Experience selling Service/Repair, Construction, and Modernization in the elevator industry strongly preferred.
