Account Manager, Senior (Nexus)
About the role
The Senior Account Manager is responsible for promoting and selling Infor Nexus products by nurturing and developing sales opportunities. The role involves achieving both company and personal quotas through developing marketing plans, managing assigned accounts, and understanding customers’ business issues to design effective strategies.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with existing clients to understand their business objectives and create appropriate solutions to meet their business needs.
- Articulate the Infor value proposition and successfully communicate the value, competitive advantages, resources, and processes to clients.
- Generate pipeline and achieve or exceed consistent annual quota achievement.
- Challenge clients and prospects to think differently by developing compelling value propositions based on ROI cost/benefit analysis.
- Develop customer account strategies and tactical penetration plans.
- Establish, document, and maintain solid communication and follow-up procedures for all assigned accounts.
- Negotiate pricing and contractual agreements to close the sale.
Requirements
- Experience selling technology business solutions.
- Experience establishing and managing executive-level customer relationships across an organization.
- Experience managing multiple complex sales cycles simultaneously.
- Experience developing business relationships with extended team members to drive sales.
- Experience working in a quota-driven role.
- Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship now or in the future.
- Ability to travel up to 50%.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working cross-functionally in a matrix-management environment with extended team members.
- Experience within the SI partner community.
