Account Manager, Retail - Enterprise Ad Sales
About The Team
The Enterprise Ad Sales Team is responsible for the marketing vision, development, and growth of our largest advertising partnerships. This team is rapidly growing, and is seeking additional team members to build an industry-leading ads and promotions business across DoorDash’s advertising offering. The growing DoorDash ads business will quickly become the single best place for advertisers to market to local customers, in an ecosystem that benefits all parties.
About The Role
The Retail Account Manager will be a founding member of the Retail Ad Sales vertical, and support the company's efforts in growing key partners (convenience stores, grocers, alcohol retailers and specialty retail) across the DoorDash app. You will partner cross-functionally to advise, execute, optimize and upsell campaigns for retail advertisers. Your focus will be on large Enterprise brands within the aforementioned categories, and you will serve as a trusted advisor to both internal teams and client decision makers. You will represent the needs of retail advertisers internally to influence a future roadmap that builds upon their business imperatives for sustainable growth. You will report into the Senior Industry Manager, New Ventures within the Enterprise Ad Sales team, as part of the broader Enterprise Sales & Business Development organization.
Responsibilities
- Be part of the growing DoorDash Ads & Promos team
- Drive planning, execution, optimization and upsells with large retailers
- Build deep cross-functional relationships to ensure retail advertiser needs are met and exceeded on DoorDash
- Blaze a trail for future growth within the retail vertical on the Ad Sales team
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in digital advertising/performance marketing
- Thrives in a team but also considers themselves a self-starter and can move autonomously with clear direction
- Comfortable and energized by telling stories deeply rooted in data that they've personally mined
- Excels in a startup environment, loves diving into the deep end toward a clear goal
- Enjoys building and always leaves things better than they found them

Pay
- Total on-target earnings (base + commissions): $107,100—$157,500 USD
Schedule
- Flexible paid time off/vacation, plus 80 hours of paid sick time per year for salaried roles
- Vacation accrued at about 1 hour for every 25.97 hours worked (e.g. about 6.7 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 3.4 hours/month if working 20 hours/week) for hourly roles
