About the role

As the frontline sales person, you will execute agreed sales and profitability targets in the Northeast Region (Southern Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, and part of New Jersey) by developing new business and expanding relationships with existing customers.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of customers in the designated territory to execute the sales plan.
  • Screen customer base for new opportunities, generate leads, and maintain a sales pipeline.
  • Provide appropriate contact, service, and support to meet sales targets.
  • Monitor sales against targets, identify shortfalls, and implement remedial actions.
  • Collect, report, and analyze customer feedback and market trends to drive further penetration.
  • Promote the company’s image and build long-term customer relationships.
  • Coordinate export shipments, including order generation, shipment logistics, and collections.
  • Administer international sales programs, promotions, and co-op activities.
  • Resolve international warranty claims.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 3–5 years of experience in commercial roles, sales, key account management, or strategic account sales, preferably in the paints and coatings or B2B industry.
  • Skills in stakeholder management, project management, decision-making, value proposition creation, and customer service.
  • Results-driven with strong commercial acumen and understanding of cross-functional processes and financial concepts (e.g., cost-to-serve).
  • Ability to pass a qualitative and quantitative respirator fit test and use a respirator as required.
