About the role

This individual is responsible for supporting the joint venture partner in Mexico with daily account management and sales operation tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Aid in developing and growing the joint venture business in the Mexico region to meet sales targets and implement sales strategies
  • Launch Rag & Bone in Mexico Latin America
  • Collect and comply with sell-in, sell-out, and stock reports on a monthly basis
  • Analyze assortments and provide recommendations
  • Maintain inventory levels and monitor in-season sell-through with reorder potential
  • Follow up on purchase orders and collaborate with customer service and logistics teams
  • Support customer appointments during sales campaigns, such as arranging samples, preparing business updates, collecting materials, presenting new collections, entering orders, etc.
  • Conduct regular regional market research, including gathering product needs, competitor activities, pricing, sales, market trends, distribution, etc.
  • Provide joint venture partner with product knowledge, visual guidelines, and seasonal training
  • Manage both wholesale accounts and support the company's DTC business opening up to five stores
  • Build strong client relationships and maintain effective communication
  • Perform administrative tasks, including placing and processing orders, confirming specialized pricing, sending order confirmations, monitoring the shipping process, and supporting the finance team by following up on payments
  • Create pitches, proposals, and other materials for different regions and markets
  • Assist with ad hoc projects as needed
  • Report to the SVP of Global Sales
  • Collaborate closely with the ecommerce and DTC teams

Requirements

  • Graduate degree in any discipline
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in wholesale within the fashion industry
  • Minimum 3-5 years of management experience
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and numerical analysis
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a hands-on environment
  • Preferred Spanish language skills due to the Mexico joint venture
  • Understanding of logistics basics for international clients with complex requirements
