Account Manager, Life Sciences (Houston, Louisiana)

For our client, we are seeking a Account Manager, Life Sciences (Houston, Louisiana) to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will focus on strengthening key account relationships, driving growth across life science research solutions, and supporting complex sales efforts in a highly specialized market. The position requires strong field engagement, senior-level customer interaction, and close collaboration with internal teams to ensure an effective customer experience and successful execution of strategic initiatives. Success in this role will come from balancing consultative selling, technical understanding, and cross-functional coordination to support customers and advance business objectives. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $100,000 – $130,000 annually Responsibilities Enhance customer satisfaction and build relationships with key accounts Sell products and services focused on life science research testing Develop strategic initiatives and execute tactics effectively Position offerings across the portfolio to relevant stakeholders Cultivate strong internal networks across multiple teams such as supply chain and customer support Manage complex sales processes and lead project initiatives Spend over 80% of the time in the field meeting clients and prospects Qualifications Bachelor of Science required; graduate degree preferred 3+ years of sales experience with a proven track record 3+ years of lab experience preferred Extensive knowledge of life science applications and products Ability to engage and sell at senior organizational levels Strong strategic and problem-solving skills Familiarity with the company's products is an advantage Benefits Bonus/commission opportunities Local benefits Referral program Volunteer day Internal academy training Employee Assistance Program Hybrid work options depending on the role Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
