Account Manager - Insurance Solutions Group
Overview
The Select Business Unit Account Manager I is expected to maintain a book of business based on location practice, demonstrating the ability to handle a book of business up to $125,000 in commission revenue. Market and service accounts (new and existing) to foster new business development and existing client perpetuation. Process client requests for service, gather necessary information for submission, verify, and maintain account files.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Manage client accounts, including processing service requests, endorsements, cancellations, and other functions, handling a book of business up to $125,000, as available
- Initiate or respond to sales calls for new business or account rounding
- Review insurance applications and policies to ensure initial compliance and underwriting authority and guidelines
- Screens and processes insurance applications
- Prepare and compile a variety of insurance-related documents within established procedures
- Maintain positive carrier relationships
- Aid in meeting office sales goals
Licensing Or Certification Requirements
- MUST hold current Property/Casualty License in resident state; includes maintaining by meeting all continuation education and other requirements
- MUST be working towards CISR designation
Work And Education Experience Requirements
- 2-4 years’ insurance experience
- High school diploma or equivalency; some college preferred
