About the Role
Shield Commercial Insurance Services specializes in contractors’ insurance coverage — from the ground to the rooftop, and everything in between! Since 2004, Shield has been known for providing superior products and customer service that deliver outstanding value and protection.
The Account Manager (AM) will drive the expansion of the Shield business by proactively seeking out and acquiring new clients, understanding their specific needs, and offering solutions. Building strong relationships will help facilitate business growth. The AM plays a crucial role in promoting Shield’s product, engaging with potential clients in the field (an average of 1 week per month with local clients, 3x a quarter with regional clients), and maintaining relationships with new and current agents.
We are looking for candidates who live in the Pacific Northwest, specifically Oregon, Washington, or Colorado, as this Account Manager will oversee Shield's West/Northwest region and travel within the region.
Responsibilities

- Follow up and maintain existing relationships while continuing to nourish new relationships.
- Identify cross-sell opportunities for other lines of insurance.

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

- Willingness and ability to travel (travel requirements will lessen over time once acclimated and relationships are built).
Benefits
- A collaborative, results-driven environment.
- Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.
- Year-round social and community events.
- Ongoing mentorship and professional development.
- Endless opportunities for upward mobility.
