Responsibilities
- Identify and refer new sales opportunities to the Producer
- Prepare, process, and review insurance documents, including applications, quotes, policies, and endorsements to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Maintain accurate and complete account files within the agency management system, ensuring all correspondence and documentation are properly recorded
- Manage activities within the agency management system to ensure appropriate follow-up and task completion
- Maintain reports of policy expiration dates to support timely renewals and servicing
- Absorb or assist in collecting renewal information from clients and submitting complete and accurate information to the market
- Participate directly in marketing efforts, proposals, special presentations, account renewals, and other related initiatives
- Absorb or assist in servicing and monitoring prospective and current customers by communicating via phone or in person to address account-related questions or issues
- Work to maintain a 90% or greater client retention expectation
- Handle or appropriately refer insured and underwriter questions to ensure timely resolution
- Absorb or assist in performing audits of prospective and current accounts to identify coverage gaps and recommend appropriate solutions
- Absorb or assist in applying strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess risks, evaluate coverage options, and provide sound advice and recommendations
- Absorb or assist in demonstrating the ability to lead, motivate, and delegate while working effectively within a team environment
- Absorb or assist in exhibiting a strong ability to manage deadlines, including fluctuating and competing priorities
