Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of accounts across K-12 school districts, higher education institutions, and companies in North America
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders including administrators, instructional technology leads, faculty, and company leadership
- Drive renewals, upsells, and expansions to meet and exceed net revenue retention targets and KPIs
- Conduct product demonstrations, onboarding sessions, and ongoing check-ins to ensure client success and satisfaction
- Provide initial technical support for managed customers, troubleshooting common product questions and usage issues before escalating complex cases to second-line support or engineering teams
- Leverage HubSpot to track account health, pipeline activity, and renewal forecasts
- Serve as the voice of the customer internally, translating client feedback into actionable insights for the product team
- Stay current on market trends, competitor activity, and funding opportunities within the education and corporate training verticals to inform account strategies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Strong understanding of account management processes and customer success dynamics within the software as a service (SaaS) industry
- Demonstrated ability to manage long sales and renewal cycles common in the education and corporate learning/training sectors
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding renewal, upsell, and expansion targets
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, remote environment
- Passion for the impact of technology on teaching and learning
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Knowledge of the ThingLink product & associated benefits for education & enterprise verticals
- 2+ years of experience in a customer success, account management, or sales role in the SaaS industry
