Sales Development & Market Growth
- Identify and develop new business opportunities throughout the Dallas market
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads
- Leverage existing industry relationships and develop new connections with property managers, general contractors, developers, and municipalities
- Support the expansion of Delaware Valley Paving’s footprint in a new and growing region
- Maintain and exceed individual sales and revenue targets
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned and prospective clients
- Build long-term relationships that drive repeat business and customer retention
- Deliver a high level of service and responsiveness to client needs
- Identify additional service opportunities within existing accounts
Project Scoping & Estimating
- Conduct site visits to evaluate project scope, conditions, and client requirements
- Develop detailed scopes of work aligned with project goals
- Prepare accurate estimates and proposals using company systems and tools
- Ensure pricing aligns with company margin expectations
Bidding & Closing
- Manage the full bid process from opportunity identification to contract execution
- Present proposals and communicate value effectively to clients
- Negotiate pricing, scope, and terms to successfully close projects
- Maintain consistent follow-up to convert opportunities into awarded work
Project Coordination
- Cover clearly communicate scope, expectations, and client needs
- Remain engaged throughout the project lifecycle to ensure client satisfaction
Qualifications
- 3–7+ years of experience in paving, construction, or a related industry
- Proven success in sales, account management, or business development roles
- Strong understanding of project scoping, estimating, and bidding processes
- Established relationships within the Dallas/Texas construction market
- Demonstrated ability to close deals and drive revenue growth
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
