Account Manager - Commercial Lines (Jupiter, FL)

Major Responsibilities

  • Responsible for client service.
  • Respond timely to client service requests as well as identify problems and develop strategic solutions.
  • Manage communications for new business quotes, renewals, policy changes, audits and billing.
  • Understand complex exposures including specialty product lines.
  • Prepare applications, proposals and related items for existing and new business.
  • Organize and prioritize workflows for assigned book(s) of business.
  • Provide expert professional support to our Agent Owners and help grow and retain business.
  • Affiliate with client management system and support administrative tasks and marketing projects.
  • Affiliate with sales professionals to review client exposures, loss experience, current coverages and recommend appropriate products and services on an annual basis.
  • Utilize the agency management systems in an accurate and timely manner to enter and maintain all pertinent information.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • 3-5+ years prior professional experience in Commercial Insurance service working with a variety of account sizes with a record of providing an exceptional experience.
  • Experience handling a generalist book of business (preferred).
  • Excellent presentation skills, including verbal and written communication.
  • Strong organizational, time management skills and strong analytical, judgment, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite.
  • Licensed in Property & Casualty Insurance.
  • Applied Epic experienced preferred.

This is an IN-OFFICE position supporting our Jupiter, FL location.
