Help Local Businesses Thrive at Scripps! WPTV, a NBC affiliate in West Palm Beach, is seeking an Account Executive. As an Account Executive, you’ll be the ultimate growth engine for local businesses!
Responsibilities
- Unleash Advertising Success: Sell game-changing advertising solutions to local and regional businesses, as well as advertising agencies.
- Custom Solutions for Maximum Impact: Use the Scripps Sales Process (SSP) to dive deep into customer needs, craft tailored advertising strategies, and deliver impressive ROI.
- More Than TV Ads: Offer innovative digital marketing strategies to maximize exposure across various platforms.
- Go-Getter Sales Rockstar: Independently hunt down new opportunities, secure appointments, assess client needs, and close deals that grow the business from traditional and non-traditional advertisers.
- Negotiate Like a Pro: Maximize revenue using data, trends, and killer negotiation skills.
- Trusted Advisor & Client Relationship Guru: Build deep relationships with clients, provide top-tier service, and turn those connections into long-lasting partnerships.
- Client Services Champion: Handle media avail negotiations, campaign execution, presentation prep, copywriting, credit applications, and revenue collection.
- Manage Your Sales Funnel Like a Boss: Proactively keep your finger on the pulse with CRM systems, track key metrics, and hit your sales goals with precision.
- Creative Collaborator: Contribute ideas to campaigns by working directly with clients, helping craft stories, visuals, and even assisting in production.
- Build Relationships & Have Fun: Maintain strong client connections through regular interactions, including fun lunches or happy hours.
- Other Cool Tasks: Flex your problem-solving muscles for a variety of tasks as they arise.
Requirements
- A BS/BA in a related field is preferred (but if you have the experience, that works too!).
- 2+ years of sales success will make you a rockstar in this role.
