About the Role
Aspire is expanding its platform beyond payments and expense management into cash management, and this role is the founding commercial presence for that segment. You will pioneer new-logo acquisition for mid-market accounts across APAC, defining the ideal customer profile, sales motion, and commercial narrative from scratch. This position sits at the intersection of sales and product, requiring deep transaction banking expertise to shape how Aspire’s cash management product evolves for high-growth companies.
Responsibilities
- Pioneer new-logo acquisition for Aspire’s mid-market accounts in Singapore and APAC, defining the ICP, sales motion, and commercial narrative
- Run deep discovery into treasury and cash management pain points (multi-entity structures, cross-border liquidity, collections, FX exposure, fragmented banking) and position Aspire as the modern alternative to incumbent banks
- Build multi-threaded relationships with CFOs, Finance Directors, and Treasury teams accustomed to institutional-grade solutions
- Partner directly with Product to feed market requirements into the cash management roadmap as a co-builder, not just a seller
- Act as the internal authority on transaction banking, educating GTM, marketing, and leadership on segment needs and positioning
Requirements
- 7+ years in transaction banking, cash management, or corporate banking (institutional background from DBS, OCBC, HSBC, or equivalent strongly preferred)
- Proven track record of acquiring and growing corporate relationships in cash management, payments, and liquidity products
- Fluency in transaction banking products: multi-currency accounts, collections, payables, liquidity management, FX, and corporate payment infrastructure
- Experience selling to CFOs, Finance Directors, and Treasury Managers in a consultative, solutions-led motion
- Ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder buying processes with long sales cycles
Skills
- Self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and can define playbooks from scratch
- Energized by landing high-growth accounts and understands the compounding value of strong logos
- Believes the future of growth-stage finance is consolidated and automated
