Account Executive, Spectrum Community Solutions

As an Account Executive, you will prospect within your territory to identify and build relationships with the builders and property managers of multiple dwelling unit (MDU) communities, working every lead from initial contact to sale. This individual contributor role will have you in the office and out in your sales territory, serving as a trusted advisor to help your customers find the right products and services to meet their needs. You’ll receive continuous support from the sales enablement and engineering teams, as well as your leaders, to help you succeed.
Responsibilities
- Spend your days generating sales leads with prospective customers by educating them about our products and services
- Build rapport and engage with builders and property managers through active listening
- Share recommendations on bundled services solutions aligned to their needs
- Negotiate contracts and conduct post-sale activities
- Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions
Requirements
- A minimum of one year of experience in a sales environment
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience
- Experience: Up to 1+ year(s) of strategic planning and problem-solving skills to develop effective sales strategies. Up to 1+ year(s) of experience navigating long sales cycles to manage and close complex deals.
- Technical Skills: Proven negotiation skills and contract proposal/review experience. Working knowledge of computer networking, LAN/WAN technologies, and fiber-connected networks.
- Skills & Abilities: Detail-oriented for accurate forecasting and tracking customer interactions. Effective communicator via phone, email, and WebEx to enhance client relationships. Strong multi-tasking abilities for organization and efficiency. Consultative sales experience to meet client needs. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills to build rapport. Self-motivation and efficiency within deadlines for productivity. Adaptable communication style and professional poise to connect with stakeholders.
- Required Skills: Valid driver's license, satisfactory driving record within company-required standards, and auto insurance.

Schedule
- Office environment. Travel as required, up to 50% of the time. Travel will primarily include day trips with occasional overnight travel required.
