Account Executive (SMB Sales)

Torch Dental is building the operating system for dental practices. Based in NYC and Austin, we're on a mission to modernize the dental supply chain and revenue cycle — helping practices save time, reduce costs, and improve profitability through software that transforms critical parts of their business. We offer two major products:
- Torch Dental Marketplace — the Amazon of the dental supply chain, helping practices simplify purchasing and save 15-25% on supplies from day one through transparent pricing across thousands of products.
- Torch Revenue Cycle Management — an agentic AI insurance platform launching this year that solves one of dentistry's biggest pain points: helping practices get paid faster and more accurately by insurance providers, using technology that's long underserved this space.
Your Impact
You will play a critical role in driving the company's next phase of growth. You will partner directly with dental practices to understand their operational and financial challenges, helping them adopt solutions that reduce costs, improve efficiency, and strengthen the health of their business. This is a true full-cycle sales role with significant ownership and visibility. You'll build relationships with practice owners and decision-makers, manage your own pipeline, and have a direct impact on revenue growth.
What You'll Do
- Own the full sales cycle from outbound prospecting through closed-won business
- Build and manage a healthy pipeline through consistent prospecting activity
- Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting within Salesforce
- Leverage established sales processes while contributing new ideas to improve team performance
- Collaborate closely with teammates and leadership to refine messaging, strategy, and best practices
- Drive new business growth while delivering an exceptional customer experience
What We are Looking For
- 1–3 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in SaaS, technology, or tech-enabled services
- Demonstrated success in outbound prospecting and closing net-new business
- Experience selling into SMB organizations (dental, medical, restaurants, service businesses, or similar)
- Comfortable with high-volume outreach and building pipeline from cold prospects
- Excellent communication, presentation, and consultative selling skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Coachable, resilient, and motivated by achieving goals
- A self-starter mentality with a strong sense of ownership and accountability

Compensation and Benefits
- OTE is $100,000 (additional earning potential with uncapped commission), Base salary is $62,500
