New Business Development / Media Strategist / Account Executive
Salem Media of New York, home of WMCA 570am, WNYM 970am and Salem Surround, seeks an aggressive Business Development Hunter and New Business Acquisition Specialist to join our dynamic sales team.
Responsibilities
- Aggressively hunt and prospect for local and regional business opportunities with relentless focus on new account acquisition
- Voraciously pursue new business leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and strategic market penetration
- Demonstrate exceptional prospecting tenacity to reach decision makers, secure meetings, and build robust new business pipeline
- Execute comprehensive market analysis to identify untapped business categories and emerging opportunities
- Strategic Digital Solutions Expertise
- Leverage deep digital product knowledge to architect customized marketing solutions that address specific advertiser pain points
- Demonstrate mastery of digital marketing ecosystem including SEM, SEO, programmatic display, OTT/CTV, social media advertising, email marketing, chat solutions, and website development
- Position and present digital solutions strategically to showcase measurable ROI and competitive advantages
- Stay ahead of digital marketing trends and emerging technologies to maintain solution leadership
- Account Development & Revenue Generation
- Conduct thorough needs analysis to uncover client challenges and match them with precise digital solutions
- Create and deliver compelling, data-driven presentations that demonstrate how our digital products solve advertiser problems
- Exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual new business acquisition goals while maintaining existing account growth

- Demonstrated success in converting cold prospects into long-term clients
- Digital Marketing Solution Expertise:
- Deep, demonstrable knowledge of digital advertising products and their strategic application across various business verticals
- Proven success selling comprehensive digital solutions including SEM, SEO, programmatic display, OTT/CTV, social media, email marketing, chat platforms, and website development
- Ability to consultatively position digital products as strategic business solutions rather than commoditized services
- Track record of using data and analytics to justify and support digital marketing investments
