Account Executive, Major
About the role
This role involves selling Canon's hardware and software technology-based solutions to companies within an assigned account list. The role requires living within a reasonable commuting distance to Norcross, GA.
Responsibilities
- Develop strategies to penetrate accounts with key decision makers at the Major Account level.
- Place Canon equipment and solutions in new accounts.
- Report customer activity to management, identify customer requirements, and monitor competitive trends and changing environments.
- Create strategic plans to address customer requirements on a local basis.
- Provide marketing, technical, and administrative support to internal departments to ensure outstanding customer relations and support.
- Develop plans to introduce and place Canon technology, service, software, and third-party solutions to meet customer requirements.
- Establish high-level relationships with the customer base to enhance long-term working partnerships.
- Gain new market share through strategic prospecting and meeting customer requirements by utilizing all available resources efficiently.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree Required, plus 5 years of related experience.
- Recent experience in office technology, business-to-business, outside sales.
- Strong communication skills, including the desire to build solid working relationships with a variety of businesses.
- An interest in learning new technology in an evolving industry.
- The ability to work autonomously and excellent time management skills.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record necessary due to some travel required within the local market, which may include overnight stays.

Benefits
We provide the anticipated base salary range for this role: $60,000-$81,550 annually. This role is eligible for incentive compensation under the terms of an applicable plan and/or policy. The anticipated incentive compensation for this role is $82,551 annually. This role is also eligible for a transportation allowance.

Schedule
This role is full-time and offers a hybrid work schedule requiring you to report to your local office as directed by management, and to be available to customers in-person or remotely (as dictated by customer needs), and provides the option to work from home on other business days (except to the extent business needs dictate otherwise).
