About the role

Vector Solutions is seeking an Account Executive to join our dynamic team. This position requires a sales-driven individual with a strong customer focus, excellent communication skills, and the ability to identify and engage key decision-makers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies and plans to achieve sales targets
  • Identify and organize relevant stakeholders for meetings, create a basis for customer business cases
  • Demonstrate and differentiate the product from competitors, emphasizing our value proposition
  • Forecast and deliver against revenue targets, achieving assigned sales volumes
  • Discover and pursue new business opportunities, follow up on defined business opportunities
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Business Development teams to generate leads and increase awareness
  • Maintain detailed reports in the CRM system, documenting sales activities, interactions, and customer feedback
  • Communicate with customers and leads to understand their needs, identify issues, and suggest solutions
  • Organize demonstrations of our products or services to customers based on their requirements
  • Maintain customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management, resolving any post-sale issues
  • Provide periodic sales plans and updates

Requirements

  • 3 years of sales experience, including 2 years in selling solutions to local Law Enforcement or the Public Sector
  • Specific work experience in Local Law Enforcement or 911 Agency is desirable
  • Proven track record of success in driving revenue through discovery, prospecting, and booking new business
  • Knowledge of information systems and IT infrastructure
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office and CRM applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Creativity and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to develop lasting professional relationships with clients
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills
  • Ability to function effectively in a high-paced and sometimes stressful environment
  • Ability to travel on an as-needed basis

Pay

Salary range: $50-75k + variable compensation
