About the role
Vector Solutions is seeking an Account Executive to join our dynamic team. This position requires a sales-driven individual with a strong customer focus, excellent communication skills, and the ability to identify and engage key decision-makers.Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies and plans to achieve sales targets
- Identify and organize relevant stakeholders for meetings, create a basis for customer business cases
- Demonstrate and differentiate the product from competitors, emphasizing our value proposition
- Forecast and deliver against revenue targets, achieving assigned sales volumes
- Discover and pursue new business opportunities, follow up on defined business opportunities
- Collaborate with Marketing and Business Development teams to generate leads and increase awareness
- Maintain detailed reports in the CRM system, documenting sales activities, interactions, and customer feedback
- Communicate with customers and leads to understand their needs, identify issues, and suggest solutions
- Organize demonstrations of our products or services to customers based on their requirements
- Maintain customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management, resolving any post-sale issues
- Provide periodic sales plans and updates
Requirements
- 3 years of sales experience, including 2 years in selling solutions to local Law Enforcement or the Public Sector
- Specific work experience in Local Law Enforcement or 911 Agency is desirable
- Proven track record of success in driving revenue through discovery, prospecting, and booking new business
- Knowledge of information systems and IT infrastructure
- Strong proficiency in MS Office and CRM applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Creativity and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to develop lasting professional relationships with clients
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills
- Ability to function effectively in a high-paced and sometimes stressful environment
- Ability to travel on an as-needed basis
